For immediate release:
The Framery of Vermont in Bellows Falls will feature new
work by Donna Lund from June 16th through July 29th. The watercolor
exhibit, “Silhouettes” is the result of working with a glazing
technique using primary colors and study of dark against light. An opening
reception will be held during the Bellows Falls Art Walk on Friday,
June 16th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Donna lives in East Alstead, NH, and is the owner of The
Framery. She attended area schools and graduated from Green Mountain
College in Poultney, VT in 1974 with an Associate of Arts Degree. She
and has taken lessons from Howard Hill, Doris Ingram, Robert Collier,
Peter Granucci and most recently, Marlene Kramer.
Donna’s work has been shown through the Keene Art
Association Gallery, area banks and local shows, and has been accepted
into juried exhibits. Currently she is a member of the Saxtons River
Art Guild and the Chester Art Guild.
The Framery of Vermont, located on the corner of Bridge
and Island Street in Bellows Falls, Vermont, is open from 10:00 am.
to 5:30 pm. weekdays and 10:00 to 4:00 on Saturday.
